Driver
Drivers will be responsible to safely operate their vehicle and trailers to deliver aggregate materials to various local construction sites. They will work and communicate with personnel on construction sites and at loading sites to accurately report loads and complete their deliveries as required. Responsibilities may vary depending on the type of truck the candidate will operate, but all drivers must be able to safely perform their duties and keep accurate records on daily tickets.
Candidates should have at least 2 years’ experience in commercial driving – construction driving experience is preferred. Must have CDL with appropriate endorsements for type of truck to be operated. All candidates must be capable of performing daily inspections, climbing, reaching, and using appropriate tools to remove loose debris from tops of trailers and hitches. Individuals must have a good driving record and demonstrate strong regard for safety. Candidates should also have working mechanical knowledge of truck components and systems in order to identify and report any malfunctions or maintenance issues.
